In 1022, Wrecker was a part of Sonic the Hedgehogs. They were part of Sonic the Hedgehogs, until a war of independence broke out. The fighting broke out, and kept going for about 10 years. Then, in 1032, the Treaty of Smokewood was written up, and Wrecker was an independent nation. Under the initial leadership of Dale Stewart, the first president of Wrecker, the nation grew from a small group of villages, to a bustling society, until Stewart was replaced in 1079 by his son, Dale Stewart Jr. Until 1325, in fact, Wrecker was run by the long line of Dale Stewarts.

In 1325, Dale Stewart X decided to make the nation a democracy, after much pressure by his people, and other nations. "I'll show them how much they love me!" was the statement that Dale Stewart had put out. He was not happy. Turns out, he was not well liked. And the first election in Wrecker history occurred, and he was resoundingly defeated in a landslide to Mr. Al Humphrey, and Humphrey became the first elected Wrecker president.

All hell broke loose, and soon Wrecker went from the richest to the poorest. In fact, some say that it was the poorest point of any nation in Tundra's long history. Hmiel didn't care, though. But the one thing noted in that dark period from 1703 to 1707, was the first race track, at the Smokewood Fairgrounds. It was a .75-mile horse racing track, and the track has since been in use.

On July 15, 1707, Hmiel was bumrushed in a wild brawl at the Smokewood Fairgrounds, an incident famously known as the "Battle of Muddy Point". The rain was heavy. Mud was everywhere.

In 1899, the first Wrecker Stock Car Series race took place at the Smokewood Fairgrounds. Cars were new to everyone, and immediately, everyone took a liking to the new attraction. The first champion was named Anthony Wayne Stewart, a 19-year old driver from the South Wrecker town of Zip. Stewart would win the title some 19 times over the next 35 years. When he retired, President Rick Gibbs named Stewart the Patron Saint of the nation. Tracks sprung up all over Wrecker.

On the TV show, WSCS Tonight(which is seen by more people in Wrecker than any other show), Adgie stated his intentions for running for president, "In the future". Little did he know that that future would be just a few short days later. None of the Wreckerians were real pleased with the candidates, Sam Hamilton and Will Unser. Members of the WSCS, such as 2003 champion Kevin Nemechek, and 7-time champion Dale Petty, all ran television ads for Joey Adgie. The hastily prepared commercials surprised Adgie, and convinced Wrecker to vote for him, and 275 million Wreckerians wrote in the name "Joey Adgie" to become Wrecker's president. Adgie is a 6-time WSCS champion, and the winner of some 168 WSCS races. In addition, he ran in the famous [[TARSCAR]] series in 2001 and 2002. In 2002, Adgie defeated all odds, and won the TARSCAR Monroe Cup, while on probation that he was serving following a fistfight with another driver.

Example: The Chester Superspeedway, a 3.0 mile, 4-lane, high-banked tri-oval near Smokewood. The track has hosted the most competitive races in both the history of the WSCS and TARSCAR. In September of 1988, Wrecker's current president, Joey Adgie, snookered some 16 others to win the Chester 500, the most prestigious race on the WSCS schedule, and the second-oldest race(The track was built in 1932). The race was considered to be the greatest stock car race ever run in the history of Tundra. After some 77 lead changes among 24 drivers in 167 laps, it was easy to see why.

In 1990, Dale Earnhardt, driving for Wrecker in TARSCAR(Earnhardt drove for Wrecker from 1982 to 2000) defeated a whole string of cars to win the 1990 Wrecker Grand Prix, a race featuring some 72 lead changes among 19 drivers.

Restrictor Plates have never been used at the Chester Superspeedway. President Joey Adgie said, "The WSCS is run by me, and as long as I'm in command, there will be no plates used in the WSCS. Ever."

Adgie was elected Wrecker's president in what is considered the biggest political upset in Tundra history. Adgie was not even on the ballot for the 2003 Presidential Elections, the year after retiring from competitive racing, and the whole thing started as a joke. On the top-rated show "WSCS Tonight", Adgie told host Rob Nisbet, "I think it'd be interesting to be president one day." None of the candidates were real well-liked, as to pertaining to character, like the recent US Elections (Both Bush and Kerry were roundly criticized) and Adgie was known as a man with incredible intelligence and character. Close to 275 million people wrote in Adgie's name for President, and on December 15, 2003, Joey Adgie was sworn in as Wrecker's 142nd president.

Wrecker's history in TARSCAR is interesting. In 1982, when the series originated, Wrecker became the top force, after getting the luck of the draw in the inagural TARSCAR lottery, drawing the opprtunity to be first to pick a driver for TARSCAR's inagural season in 1982. They picked Dale Earnhardt, and Earnhardt won The Monroe Cup every year from 1986 to 1992. After Earnhardt was killed at Daytona in 2001, Joey Adgie was picked to be Wrecker's TARSCAR driver, and Adgie raced in TARSCAR in 2001 and 2002, winning in 2002. In celebration, Adgie retired.
