The township of Wulgulmerang lies in the far north-west of Errinundera. It is a day's journey west by bus from McKillops Bridge by a rough and perilous dirt track along the Little River Gorge.
Although cars are banned throughout Errinundera buses are still used where it is uneconomical to build rail lines. For this purpose, a rudimentary network of dirt roads, little more than goat tracks, is maintained (or not maintained, depending on your view) in the nation. The picture below shows the most notorious section between McKillops Bridge and Wulgulmerang.
