Beliefs

In the beginning there was nothing and then the Gods came along made the Universe. This made alot of people very angry. Then came the Earth and Goo made little blobs of goo evolve of millions of years into the humans and animals we are today.

Their place of Worship are Shrines set up to worship the beautiful land the Gods made so they are at the tops if mountains, lakes forests, etc. Pilgrims often leave Haiku with their intentions at these shrines and flowers are left as well.

The Yestarian holy land is the land around Lake Naika in northern Cookesland where the first Spiritual Leader, Marinus I founded Yestarianism by saying how great it would be for everyone to nice to everyone else for a change. The lake contains natural waters believed to have healing qualities. The Great Shrine in Coricas is the central holy site of the church as well as the home of the Spiritual Leader

The Holy Book, The Book of Oceans is believed to be the word of written in the form of an Epic Poem. it contains Haiku, and sets up a basic guideline on how to lie one's life.

Deities

  • Meina - This amicable goddess of seas, wisdom, and creating takes the form of a young woman. She is inhumanly beautiful and has a wasp-waisted build. She is usually portrayed as wearing a bizarre uniform made from the living ocean. She carries a net. She can call forth waves of water no matter where she is.
  • Bayntzwand - This crazy god of romance, takes the form of a teenage boy. He has a wide-chested build. His round eyes are blue. He has light-colored skin. He is usually portrayed as wearing a complicated uniform made from a gauzy, mysterious substance. He carries a telescope. He inspires love in all he encounters.
  • Onimantine - This friendly god of sunlight, earth, and farming takes the form of a mature man with the traits of a lion. He has a broad-shouldered build. His outfit is that of a sculptor, and it is mostly orange in color. He also wears various bracelets. He carries a holy icon. He brings sunlight into the darkest corners.
  • Kiketh - This selfless goddess of medicine takes the form of a young woman. She is tall and has a voluptuous build. She has rose-red hair worn in a style that resembles a strange set of spines. Her slanted eyes are midnight black. She has black skin. She is usually portrayed as wearing a classy uniform that is mostly white in color. She also wears a necklace. She carries a doctor's bag. She is also the goddess of hope.
  • Mothiskern - This funny god of scholars takes the form of an adult man. He is tall and has a wide-chested build. His large eyes are black. He has gray skin. He is usually portrayed as wearing a severe suit of armor that is mostly alabaster in color, and which incorporates quill designs. He carries a lens. He can recall anything ever written down.
  • Pelen - This open-minded god of alchemy takes the form of an elderly man with the traits of an owl. He is very tall and has a lithe build. His slanted eyes are soot-black. He is usually portrayed as wearing an utilitarian uniform, which incorporates zig-zag designs.
