The Armed Republic of Zagorlad
Zagorlad is a peaceful country. Except for its battles they had in the 1200's. Now Zagorlad has a nice bay where many ships are docked and many more are usually patrolling the waters.
On the mainland there is a huge wall which runs from the coast to the borders. The wall is 30 feet tall and 10 fett thick. The country's defence is very important to the King Timothy I. That is why he gave much money to byilding forts along the borders and a castle every 40 miles in the land. Zagorlad is known for having a strong military of many trained musket men and hundreds of boys which are trained for many years starting at the age of 5.
Zagorlad's economy is made up of big farms and large markets. The king makes it that no one is ever homeless or poor, he will give the poor money and food and the homless shelter.
34% of Zagorlads population is made up of military, the other percentage is made up of farmers, bartenders, blacksmiths, coopers, ship builders and many more trades. Ongro which is the capital city is located on the island off the coast. Mountains surround Zagorlad making it kind of like a valley. Many of the citizens live in Ongro, Turnoll, Destony or Rughold; few live outside of town for there are many bandits and outlaws in the northern parts.
The king prepared Zagorlad for war but after hearing other nations has oulled back but is still prepared to invade other countries if neccessary
As war came to Zagorlad the Sicinians and Akeians landed at the village of stdgreoth or something like that and started the Zagorladian War. The first few days were spent readying for battles and invasions and all like that.
