History
Not much is known inside Zakalak about the old republic, because it was overthrown by a corrupt corporate revolutionary, who destroyed virtually all documents, to ensure democracy was not viewed as an option. His name happened to be Zakalak I, and he spawned a corporate police state. For a brief time Zakalak VII made the Empire of Zakalak a psychotic dictatorship, but was overthrown by Zakalak the VIII his own son, and in a twist of irony, was forced to swallow hot coals, a punishment he gave to many criminals, and people who wated to restore a republic type government alike. The Zakalak regime has a long history of torturing and killing criminals, and even a few of the Emperors have left baby daughters in the woods to assure they have an heir. This is a practice Corporate Emperor of Zakalak, Zakalak VIII has been trying to stray away from. On a more humorous note lately we have been trying to clone feather-bellied corcodiles, and we have been having inmates be required to donate there blood.
