The history of Zatarack began when a collection of Valdas(The Main Ethnic Group) joined together and formed the Monarchy of Mandack(Land of Aristocracy), which lasted well into the Industrial Revolution. During the Revolution, several powerful corporations emerged that heavily influenced the nation. This lead to conflict with anticapitalist who lead a revolt that overthrew the monarchy.
Fortunetly, the corporation had escaped the nation and began building an army. Eventually, they attacked the anticapitalist and set up a stratocracy(Military rule) which would lean toward the benifit of them. The new nation was then called the Dictatorship of Zatarack(Land of Authority)
The Dictatorship of Zatarack is a nation with low political freedoms and unherd of civil rights that judges succes by profit. The Economy is strong with leanings toward Defense and the main corporations are Pizza Delivery, Retail, and Information Technology. The nation has both government waste and a trade deficit, but they have done nothing but lower the currency. The government (the most corrupt in Devil Dog Heaven of Gatesville) outlaws gambling and euthanasia, awards prizes for steryotype breaking, and allows the bulldozing of forests for uranium.
