Zukariaa

Zukariaa is a huge nation taking up the greater part of an entire continent. It has gone through republics, empires, and is now a slave state. The Leader of Zukariaa has led since the ending of the First Republic nearly 250 years earlier.

Geography

Near the capitol, there are huge expanses of forest. Farther inland is a huge mountain range, on the other side of it is a large series of plains. To the north, there is an extremely hot desert. There, the temperatures reach nearly 150 degrees. To the south are swamps and jungle. Since the take over by Kraven, most of the forest have been whiped away.

Resources

Zukariaa has resources of all kinds, ranging from oil to uranium. Oil is largely found in the deserts, along with gold, silver, and many other minerals. The large forests supply a near endless amount of timber, the mountains are home to ton upon ton of uranium and gold. Much of the resources have been stripped since Kraven took over, but there is always more.

History

Early History

Zukariaa was originally inhabited by French, British, and German colonists. They were surprised to find that the huge land held no sentient life, and quickly took huge amounts of land. Over the years, a series of wars for control of the land took place, taking up the better part of a century. In the end, the Germans came out on top. They welded the land into a part of the first German Reich. This was around when Henry Corrol was born, quickly accending the military ladder at the age of 25. As the years went by, the Germans eventually abandoned the land. The people there were forced to stay, and built a nation of there own. Hundreds of kingdoms and empires were carved out by hundreds of wealthy men, but it would be Corrol who overcame..

The Kingdom Wars

Henry Corrol had amassed nearly 500,000 men, and had the largest Empire, taking up nearly all of Die Große Bucht. He waged war with the other empires and kingdoms, conquering each one through well planned and executed Blitzkriegs. It is said that he lost only 15,000 men, and caused the deaths of nearly 675,000 others. He took control of Die Große Bucht and Die Heidenburg Wüste. After all of that, he stopped. At that point, the people did not know what was out there. He had control of nearl 26 million people..

The First Republic

At the age of 37, Henry Corrol created the Die Demokratische Republik von Zukariaa. He had proven to be a great military and political leader throughout his life. Die Demokratische Republik von Zukariaa lasted for 5 years, before it was consumed in civil war.

The Zukariaan Civil War

Taking over everyone elses Empires pissed them off, and after 5 years, 12 of them united their supporters and began to rip the Republik apart. Henry Corrol would not stand for it, amassing an army of 1,367,000 men and pushing a full on assault against them before they could do anything. They were ready, however. In the opening battle of the war, called Die Eile des Toten Mannes by the people, 56,000 men rushed across a huge valley, assaulting Das Rebellische Militär. They recieved musket fire and cannons, losing nearly 25,000 men as they ran. The survivors rushed through the enemy lines, breaking them and killing thousands. As the enemies routed, they were gunned down. That's where Corrol's generals screwed up. Cannons began to rip through the lines, killing hundreds. As they began to get to cover, they would find incoming infantry. They began to fire, amazingly surviving. They pushed forward, again assaulting the enemy. They overwhelmed their artillery and won the battle, leaving 42,000 men dead..

Much of the war went that way, eventually the war ended in Corrol's favor. He had half of his men left, and the total death count was 1,500,000.

The Zukariaan Empire

Corrol at that point was 52, the war had dragged on for far too long. He had completely different views then, and created the Zukariaan Empire in 1850. It would last for nearly 200 years.

The Kraven Take Over

The year was 2050 when the Kraven War Machine would take over the Zukariaan Empire. At that time, the population was nearly 150 million. Supreme Leader Henry Corrol was still alive through amazing technology, kept at the age of 63. He had kept control of the Empire for 200 years, and Zukariaa for his entire life. He would continue to control Zukariaa under Kraven, commanding war after war for the Machine..

Colonies

The Zukariaan Empire had seized many colonies throughout the world, namely Arterus, but the Kraven Takeover changed that. All land was taken by Kraven, and Zukariaa no longer had true control over it.

Government

Totalitärer Unterdrücker (Totalitarian Oppressor)

The Kraven War Machine allows no freedoms. People must behave perfectly and do as Kraven says at all times. Zukariaa had always been Oppressive, but when Kraven came, the people were stripped of freedoms and made to work in the factories or do something else that Kraven saw a person fit for.

Diplomacy

Zukariaa hardly ever makes a diplomatic agreement that does not give them exactly what they want. Allies are usually only made to guarantee a stronger power does not fight them or so that Zukariaa can gain resources and military allies to crush enemies. (which in turn gets them resources)
