Zulfía Fishers FC is a Vassfforcian football club which plays in the Liga de Fútbol de Vassfforcia (LFV).

They are the current champions of the LFV.

History

The Zulfía Fishers Social and Sports Club was founded in 1852 when the now rich citizens, owners of the Zulfía Smelting Co. and the Pescadería de Altura Zulfía S.A. decided to form a club. Then, in 1901, they founded their soccer team, the Zulfía Fishers F.C. which was among the founding teams of the LFV. Since its foudation the team has been rival of many other teams, the Leones de Vassfforcia Occidental, the Toros, the Átomos (which come from Zulfía as well) but none of this rivalries has ever extended for more than a decade. Since the creation of the LFV, the team has been champion on 13 occacions, the last in 2007 and it has always been among the best teams in the country.

For now, the rising star of the Vassfforcian football, 18-years-old Claude Mendeé plays for the Fishers, and as he was the Scoring Champion of last year's league, his participation is expected to be decisive for the Fishers and for the tournament.
