The CasariMedia Group is a Government-Sponsored group of Television and Radio stations in Casari which broadcast on a Local, Regional, National, and International basis. The Group was established via Government Charter in CY-1403 to foster the growth of domestic media and prevent it from being overrun by richer, foriegn sources. Usually, the CMG stations can be refrenced by, if nothing else, the lack of spaces in their names and numbering most stations via their reach and importance of programming.

Radio Assets

The CMG operates a variety of National FM stations, as well as stations on more of a regional and local basis.

Nationwide broadcasts

RadioOne

The Flagship station of the Radio network, RadioOne is available throughout the nation on 91.0-92.6 MHz in the FM Band. The programming of RadioOne trends to modern and popular. Top 40 Music tends to be the focal point, with the occasional set of music from a single popular artist or the past decade. RadioOne also usually has a 4-hour morning show during the Morning rush hour, with numerous call-in segments, weather, and some news mixed in with music. After 10 pm, the station tends to skew towards talk and older music as well, along with some choice international picks as well. RadioOne also usually features national broadcast of at least one Casaran Professional Football game a week, usually as part of Matchday on Saturdays or important midweek matches, such as Cup Semifinals. Usually this tends to include the two legs of the Tyrellian Derby between Tyrellian International and Tyrellia City Soccer teams.

RadioTwo

RadioTwo was the second station founded by the CMG after overcrowding and heavy competition for timeslots on RadioOne was forcing the Group to cut down the lengths of popular shows. The complaints which followed resulted in the Formation of RadioTwo, which began as a Comedy/Talk/Drama format station. As the organization expanded, Two evolved to involve a musical program featuring the highlights from the last 20 years. RadioTwo is also the radio home of the Casaran Baseball, with usually around three daytime games a week.

RadioTwo is broadcast nationally at 89.2-90.8 MHz in the FM Band.

RadioThree

RadioThree is the CMG's News and Talk station, with almost the entire 168 program-hours a week dedicated to national news and opinion topics. The station was founded in a response to the declining amount of comedy and drama programming on the established stations. The station evolved from being purely entertainment to a combination of comedy programming during the day which changes to news and talk during the nighttime hours.

RadioThree broadcasts on 1143-1170 kHz on the AM Mediumwave band and 92.4-93.4 MHz on the FM Band.

RadioFourSport

RadioFour, or "FourSport," is a 24 hour Sports station, featuring radio broadcast of Soccer, Baseball, and Kandai as well as some sports with less widespread appeal, such as Hockey and Cycling events.

FiveSport is at 101.2-102.8 MHz on the FM band, and 1422-1467 kHz on the AM Mediumwave Band.

RadioFive

RadioFive is a more Highbrow-orientated station, formed when Classical and Blues music was phased out of the popular programming. Now, the station hosts by far the majority of the Classical, Blues, and Drama programming in the Group.

RadioFour Broadcasts at 99.4-101.0 MHz on the FM band.

Variants

The majority of Casaran programming is in the nation's primary language, English. Therefore, many shows are also produced in other languages for areas where minority or non-government-recognized languages are spoken. These stations are identified by the use of trailing letters and numbers to indicate the language and number of program-hours of alternate language programming. So, for instance, a station titled "91.6 DES2 RadioOne-D10G8" would be mean a station broadcasting on frequency 91.6 MHz with a callsign of DES2, which was broadcasting RadioOne programming with at least ten hours a day being broadcast in Dutch and eight hours being broadcast in German. Current suffixes include:

International Broadcasts

The CMG has two stations which are termed "international" broadcasts- The World Service and the Ocean Service.

Casari World Service

The Casari World Service was founded to provide national and world news to the considerable populations of Casaran Emigrants who moved abroad, along with attempting to bring a home viewpoint on news to travellers. While listenership is high among emigrants and citizens abroad, the impact on citizens of other nations has been low, as expected.

The World Service broadcasts on a number of frequencies, although the main frequencies are 6155 kHz and 8685 in the AM shortwave bands. Other frequencies are 3940, 10110, 13140, 17680, and 21660 kHz.

Casari Ocean Service

Started in order to serve the rather large Casaran fishing and merchant fleets, the Ocean Service was founded in order to provide crews with needed services at sea. Shipping Weather reports are usually broadcast six times a day, as well as other news and entertainment programming taken from the World Service and national programming. Sports coverage on the Ocean Service is also not uncommon.

The Ocean Service is broadcast on the AM Longwave bands at 200 kHz.
