Martentopiano is the capital city of Martentopis, and contains the governemntal buildings, as well as the residence of The Great Dictator. Founded over 1000 years ago by the Marten civilization, it has withstood many attacks and raids, and mainly survived because of it's strategic position at the mouth of the river Grov Mart. Just outside the city are the bases of the first and fourth army of Martentopis, which cover an area of over 100 square kilometres.

The Governmental Offices

These spectacular buildings were built about 300 years ago, but have been constantly renovated ever since. The buildings are located in the exact centre of the city, around the Great Army Square. Behind the buildings is the beautiful National Martentopiano Park, filled with an assortment of over 500 different flower spcies. The Governmental offices include:

• • The Parliament Building: this is where the Great Dictator comes to talk to his parliament. On the balcony of this building is also where the dictator holds his speaches after a decision has been passed in the parliament.

• • The Royal Army Building: this building is where the supreme generals of the five armies of Martnetopis come to meet with the Dictator to discuss battle plans or decisions in the parliament involving the army.

• • The Gaurd Quarters: this is the building where the personal body-gaurds of the Great Dictator sleep. In the courtyard there may also sometimes be army practice.

• • The Dictator Quarters: in this building the dictator sleeps when he is holding major conferences, which prevent him the time of getting home. Foreign political visitors also sleep here.

• • The Administrative Building: this is the symbolic building of the administrative section of the government. The real administrative buildings are actually in the buddiness district, though.
