The Londinian Democratic Socialists (LDS) is a major political party in British Londinium. Currently, the LDS is in power, with Alistair Davidson leading the party.
Platform
Key tenets of the LDS Party Manifesto are:
- Adoption of policies promoting workplace democracy.
- Making government representatives more easily impeached and recalled by the people.
- The creation of worker's councils
- Strong civil liberties and human rights positions, including privacy protections, freedom of speech, freedom of association, and sexual freedom.
- A centrally planned economy based around the simulation of the free market factor.
- Abolition of laws against so named victimless crimes (prostitution, driving without a seatbelt, use of controlled substances, etc.).
- Opposition to conscription.
- Support a fiscally responsible government.
