The nation of Free-Armsdonia is an ancient, enviromentally friendly nation, renowned for it's punitive income tax rates. It has been mostly run by left or centre-left politics since it's inception as an independent, democratic nation in 1886, except for 10 dark years between 1943 and 1953 when it was taken over by a Nazi-funded fascist regime.
History
Free-Armsdonia has existed in one form or another since 900BC, when several warlords in the area now known as Free-Armsdonia decided to form a loose confederation to defend themselves against other, stronger warlords. However, the land was conquered by the Ruman Empire in 406BC, notorious for also conquering the nation of Freedonia, among many others.
After the collapse of the Ruman empire, the nation of Free-Armsdonia once again became an area of squabbling warlords, until King Rufus the Wise defeated the major warlords and united the country.
