The United States of Anastasiania, a nation interested in winter sports for climactic and cultural reasons, sent a squad of 102 athletes to the First Winter Olympic Games in Aeropag, Commerce Heights.

Athletes have been ranked from 1 to 20 by Hufvudstadsposten, the major Swedish-speaking newspaper of Anastasiania, with 20 the best gold hopes and 1 the real no-hopers.
+
Anastasiania won nine gold, 13 silvers and six bronze medals in the Games, and thus became the highest ranked nation on the medal tally, largely thanks to excessive participation in nordic events for women.

Latest revision as of 17:45, 10 November 2006

The United States of Anastasiania, a nation interested in winter sports for climactic and cultural reasons, sent a squad of 102 athletes to the First Winter Olympic Games in Aeropag, Commerce Heights.

Anastasiania won nine gold, 13 silvers and six bronze medals in the Games, and thus became the highest ranked nation on the medal tally, largely thanks to excessive participation in nordic events for women.
