What exactly is the rationale behind putting links to NS calculators on infoboxes? I can understand the XML, but since economy calculators are fairly arbitrary and a lot of players (myself included) don't want anything to do with them whatsoever, it seems a little odd having them there as default. - [[User:Rehochipe|Rehochipe]] 23:18, 23 Oct 2004 (GMT) | What exactly is the rationale behind putting links to NS calculators on infoboxes? Taken from #NationStates:
[17:27:41] <Mephet`ran|Ctan> And... what's the point of the map thing on that box?
[17:28:32] <Knoot> Well... you can link to a map
[17:29:11] <Goobergunch> I'm leaving the map thing in there now because maps are fairly common.
[17:29:19] * Mephet`ran|Ctan has a map...
[17:29:26] * Mephet`ran|Ctan has several, in fact.
[17:29:43] * Mephet`ran|Ctan does however, note that the map dwarves the template box.
[17:30:09] <Goobergunch> http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Template_talk:Infobox_Nation <--- The place to discuss changes in the template.
[17:30:16] <Goobergunch> And the map slot is generally for links.
[17:30:40] <Mephet`ran|Ctan> Meh.

Aargh... someone completely messed up the template. :S I've tried to restore it, not completely succesful. Will continue to try --Knoot 15:19, 15 Oct 2004 (GMT)
- Rolled back to Frisbeeteria's old version. --Goobergunch|? 17:54, 15 Oct 2004 (GMT)
- Incidentally, to roll back an edit if the rollback button isn't visible (or you're not a sysop), just go to the edit history, click on the last good version, hit "edit" when that version appears, and then hit "Save page". --Goobergunch|? 18:00, 15 Oct 2004 (GMT)
What exactly is the rationale behind putting links to NS calculators on infoboxes? I can understand the XML, but since economy calculators are fairly arbitrary and a lot of players (myself included) don't want anything to do with them whatsoever, it seems a little odd having them there as default. - Rehochipe 23:18, 23 Oct 2004 (GMT)
