Overview

Myroria is a small country in the region of the lexicon. The local form used most often is just Myroria. The full name is "The Constitutional Monarchy of Myroria." The country was created by William Guuy, who's last name is now applyed to all monarchs. Guuy started the first dynasty, and his beliefs and ideals have carried on to the modern twenty-fourth dynasty.

Language and Religion

The most often used language in Myroria is German, with English following as a close second. The largest religion is by far, Roman Catholic, with Muslim second, then Atheism as a third. The standard of living in Myroria is very good, with about 98% of Myrorians living in houses with two floors, then 1.95 percent in one-floored houses, then 0.05 percent homeless. The literacy rate in Myroria is 99.99% of people knowing how to read and write.

Attending school is mandatory for all students above 5 years old. The legal age of dropping out is 17, though few actually choose to.

Wars and Military

In 2006 A.D. Crown Princess Alexia was murdered by savages that attacked a settlement and her nearby summer palace. This started a war between the natives of Myroria and the Federal Infantry.

Soldier's Uniform

The typical Myrorian soldier's Ceremonial Uniform is modeled after the British "redcoat" uniform and consists of the following:

• A dark red overcoat.
• An ivory colored undercoat, with gold buttons.
• Ivory colored pants, with the foot cuff embedded with gold leaf.
• Black boots.
• A musket (only used during burying services)
• Occasionally, a shako.

The common Battle Uniform consists of:

• Camoflauge jacket, pants, and boots.
• An M-16 assault rifle.
• Occasionally, camouflage face paint.

Cavalry

Myroria is one of the few countries to still actively use cavalry in battle. There are fourteen divisions of cavalry, all of them named after the capital of Guyrith.

Economy and Crime

The economy in Myroria is very good, with the minimum wage being 10 deutsche marks per hour. Myroria is capitalist, and communist and socialist countries viewed with suspicion. Income tax is currently at 2%.

Crime is a problem, though the number is steadily dropping after the death penalty has been reintroduced.

History

In about 1236 A.D., William Guuy united nomatic tribes in what is now Germany and split from it. Electing himself king, he began the first dynasty, which lasted about 70 years. When the Kingdom of Germany repeatedly attempted to take Myroria, the country was ravaged by murdering, raping, enslaving barbarians. This continued until the middle of the 20th century, when a fleet of military-grade choppers transported Myroria to Vorlon, where Myroria remains neutral to all of the countries there. On March 22 of 2006, Myroria became a vassal state of The Islamic Republic of Arab Sovereign States.

Politics

Myroria has three political parties: The Conservatory Party, a group of liberal environmentalists gaining power quickly. The Sovereign Party, a conservative party, with the second largest members belonging to it, and the Constitution Party, a liberal party containing the most members. Myroria is a constitutional monarchy, but the monarch does have a large amount of power.

Major Cities and Telecommunucations

The largest city is Stadt des Lichtes, translating literally to "city of light". The city with the most variety of businesses is Guyrith, the capital. The largest communication company is the Myrorian Communications Initiative, or MCI.

Provinces

The provinces of Myroria are Nordtaiga, meaning North Taiga. It is lightly populated, and is famous around the world for it ski resorts. The Western Province is called Zivilisierter Westen, or Civilized West. The capital of Guyrith is here, and it is the most populated. It is the only province on the ocean. The Southern Province, or Land der Eingeborenen, is mostly rainforest, and is home to the Myrorian Natives, or Tyrolese as they call themselves. The Eastern Desert, or Östliches Ödland, is desert, and is home to only one major city.

Climate of the Provinces

In the cold north province, the summer temperature rarely gets above 60 degrees F. In the densely populated west province, the climate is temperate and July temperatures is typically 75 degrees F. In the south province, the wet rainforests temperature in summer is typically 90 degrees F. in the shade.
