Pablo Bernal and every last native Acapan, marched to their homeland and restarted the war with Mundugras. The "War of Destiny" lasted for seven years and although the Acapans were outnumbered eight to five, in 1800 the Mundugras were defeated and exiled. Acapais was reclaimed to the native Acapans.
