Drunce is a small coastal country on the fringe of the Absolution region. When the collapse of Rome left Absolution in a state of chaos, the lands that would eventually make up Drunce were particularly hard hit. For centuries after countries in Absolution united into nations, Drunce was a backwards society composed of scores of small feuding tribes.

Just a few decades ago, a great leader named David Williams united many of the tribes of Drunce under a common banner. After he passed away, His Holy Majesty Stü Mason became the first elected Minister of Drunce.

Although the government employs some elements of theocracy, and Drunce is still viewed as backwards by many of the surrounding nations, it is a rapidly developing nation. Drunce is currently not a member of the UN.
