Nercer is a small nation on the Aral sea. It is a well developed liberal democracy. The country has rich culture because of the high imigration rate of Persians, Arabs, and Hebrews. It's capital city is Troy, which is also the nation's largest city.

Geography and Climate

Nercer's landscape is mostly barren desert. It's really hot in the spring and summer and unimaginably cold in the winter. The surface is mostly flat, however, at the border region where Troy is located, the land is very hilly. Most towns and cities are located on the aral sea which attracts massive amounts of tourists during the spring and summer.

Politics

Nercer is a liberal democracy. The Federal Government is divided into three branches:


Executive: The executive branch comprises the President, Vice President, and the Cabinet.The President is voted in by the Parliment every 5 years. The President can veto bills, is the commander-in-cheif of the military, and can declare war.

Legislative: The legislative branches is a unicameral parliment. There are two parlimentmembers from each of the 22 counties. The parliment votes to make and change laws.

Judiciary: The Supreme Court decides if decisions made by the other two branches are legal. Also, the Court settles constitutional crises.

Foreign relations

Nercer is a completly neutral nation with few allies, although Paradise and Scythirus are enemies of Nercer.

Economy

Nercer has a very strong economy. The economy is very mixed. The 2003 census indicated that only 3% of the population is below the poverty line.

Transportation

Nercer has a highly developed transportation system. The major cities have tazi, bus, and metro rail systems. Air Nercer provides air travel to nearly anywhere in world. An NBC ( Nersh Brodcasting Corporation ) report discovered that 68% of Nersh citizens own an automobile.

Nersh Rail is a massive train company. The trains have, as planes do, first class and business class. They deliver citizens to all the towns and cites.

The longest track is the one from the town of Greensberg to Troy, 87 miles through barren desert and hilly sands.
