The Imperialistic Futon Cossacks of New Lincolnshire was founded in 1215 by Ben Tennenbaum and Mark Savin as a result of a bet. The land has had many prosperous times and very few times of want and need. It is known throughout as the watchdog guard of the Wright Wregion with the New Lincolnshire Military.
1215-1599
On March 12, 1215, Ben Tennenbuam , a doctor by trade, arrived in the present day city of Björkville, on the Friksy River. He set up two small houses, one for living in, and the other as his office/warehouse. Eventually, two dozen settlers arrived from the east and set up a settlement along side the river. Their community flourished and this drew more people. By the end of the year, the population of the Björkville settlement had reached approx. 1500. Eventually, the famous sage, Trevon N. Pwedler decided to settle in Björkville. His actions caused an influx of people to come to his residence to follow his example. In 1268, at the age of 75, Ben Tennenbaum died of Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicavolconoisis. His succesor wasn't able to be named for the reason that he was unmarried and had no child. So all of the candidates had to enter in a Farkel tournament to see who would win. This would be the way for candidates to be chosen for leadership until 1497. In the year of 1396, New Lincolnshire joined with the country previously known as landlordopolis to co-found a region thats name has been lost in space and time. They used to be allies. However; they broke friendship because they couldn't agree over who would be the UN delegate for their region. So they split over that. Then, with friend country, Purple Suede Shoe, they founded The Wright Wregion. Around this time the population reached 1,000,000 people.
In 1458, landlordopolis declared war on New Lincolnshire in The Great Himltro War. New Lincolnshire came out victorious. This ended a conflict that had been simering for nearly twenty years.
In 1500, the first democraticly elected leader of New Lincolnshire was elected. His name was Benenin Mosticholi, of the region Svënstien. He ruled with a newly created parliment and Supreme Court. Mosticholi introduced the modern army to New Lincolnshire. He started the navy that was the scourge to the seas. They destroyed most of the other ships in the region. Then, in 1521, after Mosicholi died of congestive heart failure, the new succesor, Neil Shustermjann, enacted the first public works program. This greatly helped New Lincolnshire.
On June 13, 1563, New Lincolnshire secceded from the Wright Wregion to Patagonia, a new region in South America. The triffing reason for leaving was the UN representration. This lasted until August 23,1572. On this date, Purple Suede Shoe and New Lincolnshire made up. After this, New Lincolnshire experienced a renaisance. This lasted well into the next century.
1600-2007
On January 2, 1600, New Lincolnshire left The Wright Wregion for a second time. The reason for this is unknown. Many experts believe that it was on a bet. However, the country rejoined on May 17, 1601. In 1625, Jacob Pollak petitioned for Judaism to be recognized as a religion in New Lincolnshire. His wish was granted. Jews from all over the region, which now contained eight countries, flocked to new Lincolnshire. This great migration caused the population to go from three to four and a half million citizens. Jews and gentiles seemed to get along very well. By the close of thee 1600's, many troubles seemed to be brewing.
On April 23,1673, ÜberPowerful Nation joined the ranks of the Wright Wregion. This was the seventh country to join the region in less than 100 years. New Lincolnshire citizens felt crowded and even thought of war. However, war was avaded by having land grants given to New Lincolnshire. On October 19, 1789, the first steam engines were purchased by the company, Green's Import and Export Ltd.. This launched New Lincolnshire along with the rest of The Wright Wregion into the Industtrial Revolution. The main industry of the time in New Lincolnshire was steel making along with cotton weaving. This caused New Lincolnshire to have a monopoly of the goods throughout the region. However; the prices were fair and the economy boomed. On March 12, 1815, New Lincolnshire celebrated it's six hundreth year of sovriegnty with the Great 1815 Expedition, held in Lower Woking. This however was overshadowed by the posibility of was once again. The country of Death Death was impeading on lands that had been traditionaly been terretorial lands of new Lincolnshire. So, on June 30, 1837, New Lincolnshiure invaded Death Death in the Death Death- New Lincolnshire War. It lasted fourteen days. Eventually, the philiopher, Bjørnstjerne Martinus Bjørnson, made a peace treaty with the two nations with the same bourders as before the war. By the time the war was over, the entire country had industrialized. This was was helped by the advancement of canals. on March 12, 1876, the University of New Lincolnshire was opened in Björkville. it ushered in a new age of learing to the average man with many other campuses all over the country. By the late 1800s, the railroads had sprouted up all over New Lincolnshire. By the early 1900s, war seemed emminent. So, New Lincolnshire signed a non-aggression pact with the other two Big Three nations, Purple Suede Shoe and Vimal, not to go to war with the Wright Non-Aggression Pact. This was short lived. The Triple Entant, Borat of Kazakhstan, Flaming Cylinder, and, ÜberPowerful Nation, made an alliance with Old Hag. However, Old Hag had been making advancements toward the samll country of Bleckflech. Bleckflech had been allied with New Lincolnshire since 1901. On july 28, 1914, Bleckflech was invaded. This caused caused The First Wright War. The war lasted for four years. On November 11, 1918, the Triple Entant sign a peace treaty ending the war. This ussured in forty years of peace. Then in 1958, New Lincolnshire attacked Anal Gays with twenty, fifty kiloton nuclear weapons. This was provoked after a Anal Gay dog was caught urinating on the New Lincolnshire Embassy. However, due to the size of New Lincolnshire, no other country could possibly go to war. So, Anal Gays was turned into a waste dumping ground and nothing else was said. Then, in 1999, the global Y2K scare caught up with New Lincolnshire. This caused a mass painic in the markent. A depression occuered for four months. However, on New Year's Day, 2000, the market returned to normal. On May 1, 2007, terrorists captured the New Lincolnshire Embassy in New Shokuna. They demanded 200 Million Lincoln Sterling Pounds. However, the Bleckflech Army, whcih was stationed near by, invaded and seclaimed the embassy. The terrorists were promptly gassed with VX Nerve Gas. New Lincolnshire and Purple Suede Shoe are the only two nations in th Wright Wregion still to use nerve gas as a killing method.
