The Hallgrimssón-Ancestry is an ancestry from Skatval. It's ancestor is Inge the Wise, the younger brother of King Olav I., a king of Skatval in the middle ages. The ancestry didn't have the Icelandic/Skateburgian name "Hallgrimssón untill 1456, when Skatval-Brandenburg attacked Skatval. The escape from executions, the whole ancestry took the non-Skatvalian name, which sounds more Skateburgian. The ancestry has kept the name.
