The United Socialist States of Sualia, founded in June 9, 2007 by Secretary Blubb, is a small, socially progressive nation, notable for its compulsory military service. Its compassionate population of 14 million are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
The enormous, socially-minded government juggles the competing demands of Public Transport, Education, and Social Equality. The average income tax rate is 41%, but much higher for the wealthy. A healthy private sector is led by the Beef-Based Agriculture industry, followed by Gambling and Trout Farming.
Tourists from around the world come to visit the country's famous rainforests, all major public areas are watched by police surveillance cameras, high-income earners pay a 100% tax rate, and organ donation rates have hit a new low. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is well under control. Sualia's national animal is the ant, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the Su.
