The Grand Duchy of Beejaya is a large economically powerful nation that puts education, law and order, and its military as priorities. While the nation enjoys a decent standards of living and civil rights, there is very little within the country that goes unnoticed by the goverment. Nevertheless, the people enjoy many freedoms including freedom of press, religion, and speech with little harassment from the goverment. While protests do happen from time to time for a more open goverment or even a change from it's monarchy, most of the population seems content with the status quo. It's monarch, The Grand Duke, remains extremely popular due to his bold leadership and dedication to life the people from poverty.
