Purple is a brand of Purple WiFiber Inc. and the main telcom company and Internet Service Provider in LAE. It's the result of the merger between Purple Telecom Inc. and WiFiber Inc. which took place in September 2005
Internet Services
- FTTH: full-duplex 100Mb/s Fiber To The Home connexion, available in all cities of more than 1 000 inhabitants in love and esterel
- Wimax: 10 Mb/s (1Mb/s for upload) connexion, available for people outside cities of 1000 inhabitants in love and esterel, on a single demand
- Wifi: 100 cities (including Esterel Cities, Vagator and Anjuna) covered by a 100 Mb/s 802.11g Wifi network, 100 other cities will be covered this year
The Purple Wifi Network cover also 99% of the EMTWN (Esterel Mass Transportation Wifi Newtwork), following an agreement with Vagatorpost.lae Inc. for the The E-Page™ service.

- Full-duplex 1 gigabit FTTH: this new technologies developped by Purple is deployed in the giant project The Palm(TM) Esterel, to be completed in 2007
- OC-768 fiber optic network line with 40 Gbit/s SONET bandwith, is offered by Purple to some Private and University research center and to H3 Domes(TM)
