Introduction

Krensonia is a modernized, large nation compromising of over 2 and a half billion people. Krensonia is an old nation which until recently was still ruled by an Emperor as some other nations were far further into the past. The government holds many Isolationist policies close. It is indeed so that in general the Krensonian people and it’s government to not tolerate foreigners very much.

This doesn’t mean Krensonia is old-fashioned in any other way though. Since the fall of the Emperor the Krensonia government has been dominantly led by Society Green Party. A party that mostly cares for the Environment and the advancement of technology. Krensonia is a leading nation in Space Faring technological advances as they see ultimate glory for their nation among the stars. They have several small space stations orbiting the world and have launched several ships to the moon.

Krensonia holds an ancient and rich culture. Many people still life by traditions of hundreds of years ago. While not being especially conservative or fundamentalist. Religion is somewhat non-existent. The Krensonians worship their ancestors. But not specifically any gods or super natural entities.

The Krensonia industry and economy is large. And produces a great quantity of high-quality goods. It is not however that profitable for the population themselves as Krensonia has been maintaining a 100% tax rate for several years now.

Military speaking, Krensonia is quite powerful. They find upholding a strong military important as they don’t wish any foreigners to dare to influence their nation.

History

Modern day Krensonia was a band of warring warlords and bandits. There was no rule over any large portion of land and there was nearly no trade. Buildings were poorly made, often out of clay or something similair. Life expectancy was short. Krensonian civilization was far behind other civilizations of around that period.

On the modern-day Triked Isle the most of developed towns were situated. One town leader named Iralastorum Krens had conquered and built several other villages as he led his town. Creating a small area under his rule. He began to shape all towns into a standard layout. A temple in the center surrounded by houses in circles.

Iralastorum has build and rebuild all towns in this shape. This making it possible for every person to find his/her way in every town. He also created a sophisticated system of roads between the towns causing the trade to flourish between the towns he controlled.

He also made standard layouts for his military camps and created effective formations for his army. He introduced a complicated ranking system which made it easier for him to oversee his troops. Due to conquest and towns willingly submitting themself to Iralastorum his empire expanded and he needed more land. Soon he asked engineers to create boats that could take many people across the small sea between mainland Krensonia and Triked Isle.

He ordered nearly ¾ of the population to colonize the coastal lands his men had discovered. Population grew quickly on both sides of the sea.

Iralastorum then died of old age. Right before his dead he had dubbed his lands empire. And at his dead we start with K.E. Iralastorum had lived nearly a hundred years.

When Iralastorum died Triked Isle was well developed into a city and town landscape. The Spilithid region, as the new lands were called, was mainly an agicultural landscape. Which supplied the richer people on Triked with goods from their farms. The succeeding Emperor of Iralastorum was Almir. Almir concentrated on developing the homelands instead of trying to develop new lands as Iralastorum did. The newly colonized lands of Spilithid were soon forgotten and the prices of the goods started to decrease

After a few hundred years and several Emperors, At 567 K.E. The farmers started to revolt and seperated themselves from the mainland. Destroying harbors and boats. The citizens of Triked Isle could not produce enough food for themselves and thus started the 20 year starvation. Tenthousands of people died in that time. Until after 20 years of starvation the current Emperor begged the people of Spilithid to give them food. An agreement was made. And more then half of Triked´s wealth went to Spilithid.

In 659 K.E. when Emperor Alilum was ruling. The farm lands of Spilithid has also turned into a large city scape again creating a lack of farmfields. Alilum ordered explorers to search for more land and soon enough the complete Island of Krensonia was mapped. He then started to build new towns all over the island but seperated from each other making sure there was enough room to expand. In these years scientists on Triked isle had discovered the Scientific Method. Which included more sophisticated mathematics and modern ways of research. In the next few years many scientific breakthroughs were made. Including Steam-Engines and Electricity. This started the Industrial age in Krensonia.

Krensonia entered the modern age in 721 K.E. In 723 K.E. The first computer systems came into use. At this point Krensonia started to put nearly 45% of all it´s wealth into science and the percentage was slowly increasing. The current year is 944 K.E. (2006 AD)

Government

Form: Old Empire Democracy

The name of the Government form might sound very strange to some people. But an explanation follows. The Krensonian Empire was until recently a true empire ruled by an Emperor, his aids and the Regional Represantatives. However, the Emperor felt the people and the government were ready to give more power to the people. Alot more power.

Today the Government and Nation is being ruled in the Marble Chamber. This is a huge hall with seats circling around center stage. It's interior is nearly completely of black marble, thus the name. This chamber is filled up with factions. Every person above the age of 25 may create a faction if there are more than 5000 people that will support it.

There are no ministers that oversee certain parts of the nation. Like some nations have a "financial minister" or a "minster of culture". And people don't vote on factions to rule the complete nation. Instead, Factions only rule a sector of the Government and are not allowed to rule more then two.

Why our governmental form is still called an "old empire" democracy is because there is still one overseer who gets to oversee everything inside the Marble Chamber and has the task to make sure all the laws and rules of Government are uphold. This person does not have any power and may also not be part of any faction. This person is elected by the Factions, each faction has a maximum of 10 votes. This person does act as nation leader regarding diplomacy and international issues
