ARYADESHA

Location and extent:

  Aryadesha is located in the southern part of India. It extends from the Doab of Raichur to the northern banks of the river Cauvery- an area of 900,000 sq.miles. The country is watered by the Tungabhadra and Cauvery rivers.

Geopolitical History:

  "Aryadesha", in Sanskritliterally means the land of the noble. This term was used to refer to India atleast 1,300 years ago-

as the term can be found in the records of Chinese ambassadors like I-Tsing and Hiuen- Tsang. today, however, its extent is limited to the ancient region of Karnata. The country had been ruled by many mighty kingdoms like the Shatavahanas, Kadambas, Gangas, Vatapi chalukyas, Hoysalas, Kalachuris, Rashtrakutas, Kalyani Chalukyas and the Vijayanagar empire. for over 2000 years. It was only much after the vanquishing of the vijayanagara empire by the Sultans of the north, the democratic republic established(in A.D.2006)

  After the establishment of democracy, Aryadesha has lead a peaceful existence- rapidly improving the economy and civil rights. recognising the need for international co-operation for various issues, it has established it's envoys in
     *The buddhist region of Jambudvipa
     *Bhutan
     *Pakistan
     *Germany.(in chronological order)
  Aryadesha's puppets, United Kashmir and the Indian Invaders have founded the regions of kashmir and macedon in strategic locations, foreseeing a future threat.Both the regions are colonies of India.

Government

  The Government of Aryadesha is a small one- compared to its population and is highly decentralised- with municipalities having a high degree of power. The country is secular, though [[Hinduism

Army

  The Army funding has been doubled this year. defence is given a moderately high priority, given that we are a young nation. The Intelligence services are also developed fairly well.
