Gothika
Gothika, known as the black devils, joined the QFL in 1897. The team is one of the weaker ones in the QFL, as they have not yet reached Division Une, nor stayed in Division Deux for very long. The team plays its home matches at the Black Hole, a new state-of-the-art stadium that was finished in 1908. The Black Hole has 61,000 seats and the grass on the pitch is colored black, as are all the seats. Built into the side of a cliff, the stadium during day matches is almost completely in shadow, thus earning its nickname. Gothika's main rival is Joehio Ajax, though lately games between Gothika and Iguana de Mia have been known to cause fights in the stands.
In 1912 Gothika became a focal point in a Match-fixing scandal that included New Bruxen, the Qazox National Team, Bostopia and other countries. The QFL has for the 1913 season suspended both Gothika and New Bruxen, and will deduct 20 points from their 1914 seasons, and 10 points from their 1915 seasons. Due to the 5-year layoff, the 10 point penalty that was to be applied in the 1915 season has been dropped.
