Nobunagas Revenge ranks among the most-honoured of NS nations no longer existing, continuing to serve as Emperor (head of state) of the still-thriving region of Feudal Japan and the Tenka Fubu Alliance.

In the absence of Nobunagas Revenge, the Shogun serves in his name and capacity as ruler of the region and its alliance.

Life Prior to Feudal Japan

Nobunagas Revenge's former life was as Andossa Se Mitrin Vega, a participant in the Anumist Revolution and later serving as its president. Nobunagas Revenge was partly responsible, together with the nation of Anumia, for overthrowing the dictator Lawton Park and expediting his banishment.

During this period, Nobunagas Revenge (as ASMV) was a founding Anumian Knight, an order created by Anumia to help resolve disputes among NationStates regions. The order of Anumian Knights were intended as skilled negotiators, fighters, philosophers and politicians. It is believed Nobunagas Revenge was sufficiently inspired by the Order's ideals to produce a new region in its image, based on the theme of Japan's feudal era.

1st Shogunate of Feudal Japan

Nobunagas Revenge founded the region of Feudal Japan on or shortly before November 19th, 2005 - a day still celebrated annually by the region as "Founder's Day". He did not select the title of Emperor, styling himself as Shogun.

Nobunagas Revenge was soon accompanied in Feudal Japan by numerous other nations who have since passed into Feudal Japan legend, including Shadow Warror (first Kanrei), Hsaur and Burn up Blade. A very small number of active nations from those earliest days remain, including Hotti and Madazi (formerly Uzkanistania). Other nations which arrived in Feudal Japan prior to NR's demise and who continue to reside there include Knights of Zion, Ghaard Allamia and Fuji Gaijin.

Nobuanga's Revenge established the first off-site forum of Feudal Japan (still in existence here), and the original Tenka Fubu Alliance mission statement.

Nobunagas Revenge ceased to exist as a nation in March 2006. In his last message to the region, he named Hsaur and Burn up Blade as his official heirs. After Hsaur ceased to exist, Burn up Blade became the 2nd Shogunate of Feudal Japan.

The Eternal Emperor

Nobunagas Revenge was recognized by legislation drafted and passed by Burn up Blade as Emperor of Feudal Japan for all time, and has been honoured as such ever since. In addition to Founder's Day, the Emperor's Birthday is also celebrated every January.

According to legislation, and perpetuated by loyalty oaths sworn by each new Shogun, should Nobunagas Revenge ever again become an active nation he may immediately relaim the Shogunate and resume control of both Feudal Japan and the Tenka Fubu Alliance.
