The Rouston River is the second largest in the Simtropolis region. It should be pronounced as RAW-stun, rather than REW-stun. This is a common mistake, due to it's proximity and simmilar spelliing to the Houston River.

Location

The Rouston River is located south of the continental divide of the continent of South Simtropolis. The river starts in southern Metropolitan Houston, and runs down into Audland. From there it runs further south through Audland's major cities, and empties in the Rouston Delta National Wildlife Preserve.

Shipping

The Rouston River is mostly level up until Lancaster. Just north of Lancaster, the Rouston Canal begins. The canal runs with the river from Lancaster to Clinton. The last lock is at Clinton, but from that lock the river is navigable for shipping for another 125 km.
