Basic Overview
The Peoples' equalitarianism of Jjuulliiaann is a massive, safe nation, remarkable for its devotion to social welfare. Its compassionate, intelligent population of 3.5 billion are fiercely patriotic and enjoy great social equality; they tend to view other, more capitalist countries as somewhat immoral and corrupt.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, socially-minded government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of the Environment, Education, and Social Equality. The private sector is almost wholly made up of enterprising fourteen-year-old boys selling lemonade on the sidewalk, although the government is looking at stamping this out.

Political System
Jjuulliiaann has a very left-wing libertarian government. Everyone is taxed very heavily, and extreme welfare programs are in place for the poor.
The government-owned health-care program is available to all, as is free mass-transit, food, and education. Each and every citizen in Jjuulliiaann is guaranteed a free and first-class education from day-care through graduate school. The cost of this is payed for mostly by the rich, who have an average income tax rate of 100%. There is very little sales tax, however, as corporations are almost nonexistent.
The private sector is so small because the government runs all major industries, including water supply, gas, education, health care, food, transit, law, and military. However, as Jjuulliiaann is generally a pacifist nation, the military is composed of a very small guard force which maintains the borders.
Jjuulliiaann is generally open to all refugees, as, although its population is huge, the nation itself is even huger, and there is plenty of room for expansion in its region, the Union of Independent States.
