The Incorporated States of Global Tetrahedron are a wealthy, independent, and economically powerful nation in the Free States of Gaia. It is run by the Global Tetrahedron Consortium, a corporation organized by the major corporations; it maintains law and order within the territory of the Incorporated States.
Government
The Government consists of one law making body, the Shareholders' Assembly, and one very powerful, though officially advisory body, the Chamber of Corporations.
The Shareholders' Assembly makes and passes ordinances (the official names for laws in Global Tetrahedron). Assembly-members are elected through a 'one share, one vote' philosophy, where the largest shareholders get the most votes.
The Chamber of Corporations officially exists in a solely advisory capacity, however, this belies its actual power. All treaties with foreign Governments must be accepted by the Chamber of Corporations, and the Chamber also controls the Treasury.
