Iansislean General

The Iansislean General (short for general issue coinage) is the currency that continues to be used in most states that formerly comprised the Grand Empire of the Shield and its Dominions. Generals have never been issued as paper legal tender, only coins. However, the coins have long been debased from gold and silver, making them in effect a heavy, round paper currency.
The coins are issued between a keneral (G0.01) and a G10,000,000 coin, which is primarily only an object for the collections of the fabulously wealthy. Each is identified by a monarch on the front and either an animal or a Roman numeral on the back.
Currently, G1 is roughly equal to £0.215 Walmingtonian.
