The Confederated Union of History lovers is a large, socially progressive nation. It is ruled by President Puller Lunphi, the second democratically elected president. The government is the most remarkable thing about History lovers. It is a blend of a Parliamentary and Congressional governments. The Senate contains three senators from each of the nine autonomous sections of History lovers. It has a House of Representatives, very similar to that of the United States, and its third part is the Council. The Council is a many-membered house that has a certain number of members for each ethnic and religious group in History lovers. Each ethnic or religious group gets its own amount of Councillors. Also, those with the title 'lord' gain a seat on the Council. The Council has exactly 350 representatives, nine of which are seats for the nine Lords of History lovers.

The executive branch is also run in a strange way. The constitution gives the President a term-for-life, meaning that the President will continue ruling until he resigns or dies. However, the Vice-president is elected every year in Februarary, and he takes over as Interim-president in the absence or death of the president. In the next February, they have a double election: one for President and one for Vice-president. The constitution also states that the Interim-president cannot run for ANY political office while he holds that position.

There are nine 'autonomous sections' in History lovers. Each one is controlled by old tribal boundaries that have existed for centuries. Each one has a lord who holds no power but automatically receives the seat on the Council, unless he runs for another political office. Then the Lord picks someone to sit for him on the Council. The nine sections are:

  • NEW ANATOLIA: New Constantinople
  • NEW BALTIC: New Athens-Sparta
  • NEW LATIUM: Nova Roma
  • NEW PENNSYLVANIA: Philadelphia
  • NOVA BRITTANIA: Boston-Cambridge
