The "War of Destiny" lasted for seven years and although the Acapans were outnumbered eight to five, in 1800 the Mundugras were defeated. Acapais was reclaimed to the native Acapans.

Post War

Since the War of Destiny, an overwhelming majority of the Acapais citizens wanted to abdicate war from the budget. Pablo Bernal, who became Supreme Minister immediately following the war, disagreed for he felt national defense was most important.
