Adon Olam is a growing nation in the Western Atlantic. It was founded on May 1, 1829 by Eli Ben Moishe, who was a Messianic Jew seeking a new Zionist utopia. The King of Adon Olam or the Melech is a decendant of Eli Ben Moishe.

The culture of Adon Olam is a blend of Western European styles, due to the diverse backgrounds of the inhabitants. Basically, Adon Olam is the Zion of the West. The nation follows by the Jewish calendar, but celebrates Christian holidays as well, due to the fact that Adon Olam is a Messianic nation.

In rural areas, Olamites generally live by substanance farming and fishing only harvesting enough for the needs of the family, and the community. In more urban areas, it is capitalism as usual. Most businesses are sole proprietorships, as current laws discourage corporations due to the fact that corporations put the small business out of work.

With the founding of Adon Olam, it was decided that the national religion would be Messianic Judaism, due to the fact that every pilgrim who came with Eli Ben Moishe to Adon Olam, believed that Yeshua, known as Christ to the gentiles, was the Messiah or Meshiach. Despite the fact that it has been over 100 years since the founding of Adon Olam, every citizen in the nation is still a practicing believer.

Because Adon Olam is a Theocratic Monarchy, Religion plays an extremely important role in government. The ultimate authority in politics is the Melech. But the ultimate authority concerning religion is the Royal High Priest. Together they form the legislative branch of government, while separately, the Melech is the executive, and the Royal High Priest is the judicial. Further clarification is listed in the political section.

A chart has been made to full understand and comprehend the basis of government for Adon Olam.

Each member of Gideon Corps is at least a Sergeant/Petty Officer Third Class. There are only three hundred men allowed in the Gideon Corps. They are named after the famous Israelite general, Gideon, who is mentioned in the Torah as saving the children of Israel from the Midianites and Amalekites. Each is armed with a Desert Eagle handgun, and a Uzi assault rifle.

Judiciary System

For the sake of making things easier, the judiciary system of Adon Olam has been given its own section, apart from religion. But the two are intertwined.

Federal Court

There are two Federal Courts: the Federal Court of Aharon, and the Federal Court of Levi. The Federal Court of Aharon deals with secular crimes, while the Federal Court of Levi deals with religious crimes.

Federal Court of Aharon

The High Priest of the Order of Aharon presides over this Federal Court, along with four other priests that the High Priest chooses. The court hears the case, then issues its ruling with a 3/5 majority. Cases only reach this court after all other avenues have been exhausted.

Federal Court of Levi

The High Priest of the Order of Levi presides over this Federal Court, along with six other priests that the High Priest chooses. The court hears the case, then issues its ruling with a 5/7 majority. Cases only reach this court after all other avenues have been exhausted.

District Court

District Court judges are priests appointed by either Order. As with the Federal Courts, the Aharonic priests decide secular cases, and the Levite priests decide religious cases. But instead of a board of judges, a single judge presides over each district. Cases only reach these courts if local avenues have been exhausted.

Local Courts

Also known as county courts, two priests presides over each county as judges. The priests are elected by the people of the county, one priest from each Order is elected. Once again, the Aharonic priest decides secular cases, and the Levite priest decides religious cases.
