Adrián is the capital of Islas de Pádrogüe. In 1871, the government capital was moved from Barandon to Adrián. The royal capital was always in Adrián, since it was also the capital of the old Kingdom of Orque. Its population is 2.6 million, making it the largest city in Pádrogüe. It is a centre of commerce and trade and has been since its foundation in 832. Tourists often visit Adrián for its rich history. The most visited landmarks are the Royal Palace, the Catedral Sant Adrián, the Audiençi Naçionâ, Park Etirat, and the famous Platja de Marieque Beach.
