Introduction and Ethos
Alpha Omega is a capitalist and conservative region that believes in free enterprise and free trade. We are strongly pro business and we are members of ACCEL (Alliance of Capitalists, Conservatives and Economic Libertarians)
Government
We have a democraticaly elected government. The government consists of the following possitions:
- Head of Cabinet
- UN Delegate
- Secretary of State
- Secretary of Commerce
- Secretary of Defence
- Secretary of Recrutiment
How the Government is Chosen
The Head of Cabinet is our Founder and thus does not change. The UN Delegate is elected by the other nations in Alpha Omega. Then the UN Delegate and Head of Cabinet select the other members of the government.
Government Responsibilites
Head of Cabinet
The Founder of our region. He is the person who deals with the administrative matters of government, and he chooses, with the UN Delegate, the rest of the Government. As he is founder he is also tasked with the protection of our region from invasion and the banning of undesirables. He is also joint Head of Government with the UN Delegate.
UN Delegate
Apart from his duties in voting on UN Resolutions he is also joint head of government with the Head of Cabinet. His duties are fairly informal and he deals with general problems in the Region and can introduce new general inititives and the such. He is a figurehead of the government.
Secretary of State
He is resposible for forgin affairs. He organises alliances and is our chief diplomat. Although he generaly manns most of our embassies he does have beneath him some diplomats who mann a few embassies. He is also our Director to ACCEL unless declining to do so, in which case we vote on it. (See the director section for more information)
Secretary of Commerce
He is resposible for setting the level of accepted level of Economy for our member nations. (see rules section) He is also resposible for inforcing the accepted level of Economy and our mandatory regional currency, the Omegan. (see rules section)
Secretary of Defence
He is resposible for organising our millitary and millitary operations. He has to work closely with The Meritocracy as they have to be consulted before all millitary operations.
Secretary of Recrutiment
He is responsible for recruting new members and organising our recruting program . Beneath him he has recrutiment officers that also send recrutiment telegrams.

The Constitution

Rules and Customs
We have the following rules:
- All nations currency must be or include the Omegan. (for instance the Omegan or the Omegan Pound is acceptable)
- All UN nations must endorse the UN Delegate to help the secruity and power of Alpha Omega in the UN.
- All nations must have the accepted level of Economy as decided by the Secretary of Commerce.
- All nations must respect all other Omegans and our allies nations.
Alliances
We have Alliances with the following regions:
ACCEL
Alpha Omega is a member of ACCEL (Alliance of Capitalists, Conservatives and Economic Libertarians) an alliance of Capitalist and Conservative regions and individual nations. ACCEL is a complex and highly organized alliance that promotes capitalism as well as national and regional sovereignty. The alliance was formed on June 29, 2005 with the ratification of the Treaty of ACCEL.
Director
The Director is basically our ambassador to ACCEL and forms part of The Directorate
Currently our Director is Scandinavian Duchies.
The Meritocracy
Alpha Omega is a Prefecture of The Meritocracy. The Meritocracy has traditionally held in high esteem the values of national sovereignty and capitalism. As a prefecture of The Meritocracy we are part of Meritocratic Territory.
Map
Our map has been created by the nation Warring Minorities, it roughly shows the size of nations and the center island is the Omegan City. The administrative, commercial and cultural capital of our region. It is on neutral ground and does not belong to any naiton.
