Introduction

Arenumberg is a nation of many changes, Temporal disturbances and other such disasters and alternate realities have gave it many identities, but it has always retained one, Its originality. The Arenumberg of today is strong, proud, but different in many ways.

Background

The Aistaesor Vaederdos of Arenumberg or Imperial Republic, was founded in 2600 PE (Post Enlightening). The Imperial Republic was, for some time, merely a band of refugees from the terrible events of the classified Brysdale Incident (2597), An Incident that took 5 years to resolve and cost many lives. The Refugees (All Elven Outcasts from the Brysdale system and elsewhere) took whatever they could and headed for the galactic core (The Coreworlds, Not The Actual Core).

Once safely located within a cluster of stars inside the galactic core, and with no foreseeable enemies, The people of this new castoff put themselves to work on the planet they had been able to choose, a paradise, surrounded by resource filled systems and inhabitable planets for lightyears around, they had been given a silver spoon, so to speak. They Prospered and grew in bliss.

The Nation however, 500 Years later, became host to another flood of refugees, in unknown cirumstances, Arenumberg as it had been known was completely destroyed, the Royal Family, knowing of this offcasts existence, had taken anyone left and set out for their Elven Brethren, whilst Arenumbergian humans that survived dispersed themselves around the galaxy.

The Royal Family took to the throne in the capital of Tel'Quessir, and life began again, the nation built for another 100 years, before finally revealing itself once more in a encounter with Arizona Nova.

The Imperial Republic currently spans over 24 systems, located roughly 27,700 light years from Sol in the galactic core. What follows is a list of the principle systems and notes concerning them.

Valinor System

Valinor is the capital of the Imperial Republic and home to ¼ of the population.

The Planet Morwinyon is roughly two times larger than Feraul (Original Homeworld). The planet is 60% water and the continents are dotted with crystal blue lakes, large mountain ranges and are heavily forested.

The smaller planet of Telnath is a mirror of Morwinyon in most respects and along with Valinor Secundus (which is roughly the same size) they provide space for manufacturing and to ease the burden of over populaton which could destroy Morwinyons eco system.

Kathyi System

The Kathyi System was the first system formally colonized by the settlers of Morwinyon, the system holds an invaluable supply station and the important White Swan Dockyard, Aquilae is a ocean world, and has become a tourist resort, whilst Orosta, Lorna and Yaavie are all sleepy agricultural and residential worlds.

Falasse System

  • Uninhabited Planets: None
  • Major Orbital Installations: Barranon Station (Caerelon), Kitorsa's Anvil (Xanathor)
  • Population: 376 million

The Falasse system provides an important manufacturing base, as its worlds are mostly dunelike, but inhabitable, there was no problem with large portions of the eco system being damaged, as there wasnt one, leading to some of the largest manufacturing stations being constructed in orbit. Xanathor is considered a "forge world".


Herenya System

  • Major Orbital Installations: Syrus Station (Sanathor), Theta Research Labs (Luunoronti)
  • Population: 276 million

The Herenya system is a blessed system, its worlds are perfect, almost as perfect as Morwinyon, and thus, it is almost untouched, although populated, A research station is in orbit of Luunoronti. An inhospitable lunar world.

Raakina

  • Major Orbital Installations: Suliminae Imperial Fleet Base (Suliminae), Ataque Supply And Research Depot(Ataque), Marhus Trade Station (Firinga)

The Raakina system is a supply and staging base for the Imperial Fleet, the Suliminae Fleet Base conducts most out of empire fleet actions.


Quantus (Koratu In Basic)

Quantus is nowadays famed for its Arizona Novanian residents, Whilst Junii is proving to be a promising resource world and supplies the dock yards in orbit, Quantus is important for the reason that a Arizona Novanian colony rests upon Varanars surface, which brought about colonization of Junii and construction of numerous platforms, and the now present situation, where hundreds of merchant ships pass through the system on a daily basis, due to strict trade lane enforcement rules.

Over 88% Of Intergalactic trade currently passes through this system, giving large economic benefits to Arizona Novanian merchants based on Varanar.

Arenumbergian Foreign Policy allows for limited expansion, and indeed, its policies allow carte blanche for removal of "chaotic" elements and other such nations which "defile" the galaxies most prized worlds. However, the foreign policy is currently mostly peaceful and non interventionist.

Economy

The Arenumbergian Economy is built upon self sufficience, and is built to operate geared towards civic or military pursuits, in a case of invasion, the economy is still meant to operate on a self sufficient system or even planetary scale.

The Economy is built upon the principle of "providing for all, and all providing", a socialist if not communist view, however, currency is still prevalent.

General Assessment: Communications within the Imperial Republic are facilitated by stations and transmitters which use the element of subspace to transmit messages safely and instantaneuously, Messages can be jammed however, or intercepted, but this method has led to fast effective and safe communication.

Transportation

General Assessment Every major planetary base has at least one docking station capable of servicing large transports or capital ships. Many of the built up systems have several of these per planet, especially in the major fleet bases.

Overview: The Arenumbergian military is a large and well trained force, although it has not been tested in total war conditions, The Swan Navy is the most powerful branch at this time. The Swan Navy uses large ships for fleet battles, whilst maintaining a large amount of smaller ships for the current fleet doctrine of hit and run.

The Army, while as powerful politically as the Navy, is still not aswell funded. The Legions are trained upon their homeworlds and fashioned with the best armour and weapons each world supplies, echelons for each legion (air support, ground armour, etc) are constructed upon manufacturing worlds (which also have to provide for their own legions). Each legion has its own transport, and when armed with its echelons of support is a deadly force that can operate alone if necessary.

The Imperial Guard is an elite branch that deals with mostly the core systems security and the elite portion of the Swan Navy, most information is classified.

The Brysdale Incident

The Brysdale incident is heavily classified, however, from all public information and eyewitness accounts, the following can be learned.

The Brysdale Incident was a rebellion by Human Colonists who desired indepenence, and were determined to get it in any way possible, for whatever reason is unknown, after numerous riots and hate crimes against Elven Colonists, a fully armed cruiser was taken by its Human Crew, upon which they turned it upon the colony ship, the station in orbit, and the rest of the system, costing around 5 million lives.

Brysdale was granted independence, eventually, but not untill a sizeable portion of the Human crewed fleet had suceeded and laid waste to "Elven Sympathizers" and colony worlds, even if they had a majorly human population. Elven Survivors fled, and formed the nation we know today.

The Naquith City Encounter

The First Encounter with foreign species since the fall of Arenumberg Proper, Arizona Nova sent a colony ship to the a border system of Quantus in the Imperial Republic, which duely landed outside of Naquith City, with her escorts. Over the course of the next few months, a strong trade agreement and alliance was made, signified by the ceremony upon the finalising of the construction of a Arizona Novanian city on Varanar.
