The Imperium Of Man, In the alternate universe the GSR existed, detected, mostly by luck, the taint of chaos within their own universe, something almost eradicated many decades ago, fearing a resurgance of chaos powers, the Imperium scourged the GSR from the galaxy, occupying its worlds and converting its people to devoutly follow the emperor, troubled, the imperium remains vigil at the shattered area of space that could let chaos defile their universe again.
