Asgarnieu is characterized by its great weather, and is a huge tourist location within the 10,000 Islands. Asgarnieu has one of the most powerful military forces within the 10,000 Islands, and is active in the Ten Thousand Islands Treaty Organization (TITO). The Asgarnian Armed Forces consists of several branches. The branches are The Asgarnian Army (AFA),The Asgarnian Air Force (AAF), The Asgarnian Marnines (AMC), The Asgarnian Naval Force (NFA), The Asgarnian Special Forces (ASF), The Asgarnian Coast Guard (ACG), and The Asgarnian Royal Parlimentary Guard (ARPG).
Despite its large devotion to the military, much money is left over for other government uses.
The government devotes huge amounts to Law and Order, but areas such as Social Equality and Welfare recieve almost no funds by comparison. In Asgarnieu, the laws are extremly strict. Some citizens have been executed for committing simple adultery. Imagine that.

The National Animal of Asgarnieu is The Asgarnian Grey Lion. The animal can be found in Asgarnieu's many lush forests. Recently, Grand Parliment and Congress have legalized hunting of the lion. The National Currency is The Asgarnian Gold Point (§, AGP). It is equivalent to $1.63 USD. The nation is considered one of the richest in the region.
Imports and Exports
Asgarnieu trades with several nations, and has a wide variety of import/export items. Asgarnieu cheifly imports military equipment, titanium, bauxite, tungsten, uranium, plutonium, and cheese. Asgarnieu exports oil, textiles, potash, building materials, and salt. Asgarnieu earns over 200 trillion Asgarnian Gold Points every year in trade.
Transportation
Asgarnieu has one of the largest transport sectors in the region. AirAsgarnieu© and Asgarnieu Rail© are the leaders in transport. To fly in or out of Asgarnieu is a task, as the borders are closed to immigration and emmigration. Most flights are actually carried out by the military. Most commercial flights are made from Asgarnieu to islands in The West Pacific. AirAsgarnieu© has several terminals in other countries as well.
Climate and Weather
The weather in Asgarnieu is one of the top 25 in the region. Weather is usually mild, with warm summers, and cool winters. In some regions, there are several deserts, but lush green mixed decidious and coniferous forests cover most of the nation. Snow covers most of the higher elevations, usually above 15,000 feet. There are 19 such areas in the nation. In the eastern portion of the nation, however, there is much rain. Over 28 inches fall there every year, mostly because it is a rain forest area.
National Holidays
November 18 is Freedom Day in Asgarnieu, December 8 is Peace Day, Christmas is on December 25, April 13 is Flag Day, and August 10 is Warrior's Day. All holidays are days-off for government workers, and citizens regularly close up their shops. Of all the holidays, November 18's Freedom Day is regarded in the highest. It is almost expected of citizens to attend local parades, firework shows, and parties.
Religion
Most of the citizens in Asgarnieu believe in Chistianity in one form or another, but there are also several other faiths. Muslims make up 10%, Jewish make up 7%, and other religions make up 13%. 10% of the citizens are Agnostic or Atheist. There are over 500,000 churhes in Asgarnieu.
Culture and Background
Asgarnieu is a mosaic of culture. The country is a host for over 100 different ethnicities. The majority consists of the ancestors of the Fl'eepe N'aakty tribe, which is over 1,000 years old. Over one-fourth of the population is of the Fl'eepe N'aakty race. Other ethnicities include anglo, hispanic, black, and asian.
Armed Forces
There are currently 7 branches of the military in Asgarnieu. Over 98 million citizens serve in the military of Asgarnieu. The military is also backed up by 500,000 National Guard troops, and 100,000 Reserve troops. The main weapon of the Asgarnian Armed Forces is the AM-17A3. The main heavy vehicle of the Asgarnian Armed Forces is the M1-A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank. The primary light vehicle is the Stryker II Light Fighting Vehicle. The main aircraft is the F/B-150C/E Fighter/Bomber. Military service is compulsory for all males who are 18 years old, and they must serve for at least 18 months. Women can join at their will. The military draft will consider any male who is 20-29 years old. Women are not eligible for the draft. TITO is also an active military force in Asgarnieu, but is reserved for use in TITO Defense roles and do not join battle with Asgarnian Forces. There are 600,000 TITO troops in the country.
