History

The island of Terrain de Poisson was first discovered by a French sailor in 1902, though natives had already inhabited the island by then. The island was populated initially by French settlers, though it soon became a land of many nationalities. Settlers from all over the world bought ships and sailed to this new land. In 1965 the Constitution fot the Rights of the People was formed and signed by representatives from established communities all across the islands. It was at that time the island became internationally recognized as its own country.

In 1972 a civil war occured and an island far north of Rio Ciudad, seceeded from the nation. After a brief war, the seceeded island was finally recognized as a formal nation and is to this day known as the Exiled Atorians.

In 1978 another a revolt occured in Exiled Atorians, and Ator People supported this attempt to seceed from their old enemy. A small group of rebels were successful, and the lower coast of Exiled Atorians is now the nation of Atorian Border.
