History

All records of Bailey O'Sullivan's history is strictly confidential, leaving many gaps unfufilled. This is "for Our President's protection."

O'Sullivan was born on June 15, 1961 and was raised by his single mother in Limerick, Ireland. Fortunately his mother was a very successful woman after coming upon an inheritance and he was able to live a comfortable life. Showing an aptitude far beyond his age, he was generally seen as eccentric or "weird" by his fellow students. Unfounded rumors abound that his mother's own neurotic behavior and care of her son left him with a definable impression. Most of these allegations are of course denied. Bailey was regarded as a gifted, and despite his eccentric personality, often charismatic individual even at a young age in his Catholic schooling.

After showing his potential, his mother used what was left of horribly squandered funds to secure a line of finance for furthering her son's education, which she took great pride in. Attending a much higher form of education at a private boarding school, he showed great skill in his rhetoric, literature, and math classes, always praised for his analytic and meticulous examination of the facts. Attending in the United Kingdom at the University of Oxford upon a substantial scholarship, he gained a Masters in political science while he minored in psychology. Returning back to his homeland in Ireland, O'Sullivan was hired in Dublin to become an analyst of intelligence for the fledgling government. As a noted careerist, he worked himself within an alarming amount of time to the highest echelons.

Cold War

Working as advisor to even higher powers within the North Atlantic Trade Organization, he played significant roles behind the scenes in orchestrating the anti-communist activities that were being espoused at the current time by NATO. Some say Bailey was at the Berlin Wall "with a sledgehammer" himself to bring it down. This is meant figuratively, as his analysis of the political situation in Berlin was instrumental in aiding American and British propaganda which brought about the dismantling of the wall. Bailey was extremely young for such a position at the time, but it was well-noted his never-satiated ambition and drive.

Post-conflict in the Balkans, Bailey returned mostly to domestic tasks in Ireland. Sometimes labelled as a British sympathizer, he had no respect for the often violent activities of the various factions of the Irish Republican Army still active. He often voiced criticism of the threat to stability they presented and how it was disadvantageous for the state of Ireland to pursue a wishy-washy policy upon them. He had also pointed towards the USSR, even in his devalued position, as an enemy to the free world. He had secured intelligence and documents that lead to the very real posibility of agitation and "revolutionary" activities endorsed by the Soviet Union within the Republic of Ireland. He called for action and sanctions against the USSR's posturing, but the government turned a blind eye to his offers. He had a failed run for Prime Minister that same year, and after a demoralizing defeat, he had retired from his position.

Post-Holiday Revolution

Prior to the Holiday Revolution, he had very much known the Soviet Union's intent. During the events that took place, he had been escorted out of the nation by Delta Green agents assigned to make sure he had escaped alive. Taken to the newly constructed Capitol in Antarctica. Angered at the loss of his homeland to the Soviets he had despised, he was offered by Sheng-ji Yang, Chair of Human Relations for the fledgling Delta Green organization, to become a high-ranking analyst for the organization. O'Sullivan was present in the organization as they began to construct the basis of their nation, and he orchestrated the Woomera Incident that allowed for the takeover of Australia. Furthermore, he was instrumental in the analysis of Soviet forces in Antarctica during the Hyperborean Purge, his first involvement in an actual military operation.

After the "retiring" of former President Galvin McKinnit, whom no records remain and no information is available, the Arliament once again met to decide what face and mind they could use. Stepping in a new direction for their third attempt, they chose Bailey O'Sullivan for his charismatic persona and his ability to actually be useful and not always have to rely on the Parliament to create policy. Satisfied with his performance, he has easily superceded the amount of prestige and authority granted to the previous two Presidents, and has become a historic leader domestic and abroad.
