Beatrice Elizabeth Turtledove, Danaan politician, has been a member of the Senate of Pele (local legislature for the Principality of Pele) since 1991. She was a Reformer until the reorientation of Danaan politics following the Shattering, at which time she joined the newly emergent Labor Party. She has been President of the Senate since 2005 and leads the strongest Labor government of any of the Danaan principalities.
