Bethetras has developed over many years into a respectable, modern civilization. It strives for civil and political perfection and focuses on the freedom of its people. The economy is weak and often suffers crashes directly after long periods of prosperity, but the general welfare of the nation is good.
This is the point of origin of the language of Mû, and the name Bethetras means, roughly, "The Precious Land" (bethe = rich, luscious, elegant, extravagant, precious, embellished, etc.).
The flag consists of a sun pattern on a green and black background with a red circle in the middle. The green represents the land of Bethetras, the black represents the infinite freedom of the universe (freedom is a major idea in Bethetras, and is highly prized by its people), the yellow sun represents the people, and the red circle represents the heart and spirit of the nation.
The national motto is cavan heivet rodinan (
). It means 'freedom with order'.
