The Empire of Blaceria is a democratic nation founded on the sweat and blood of many local misfits and clanspeople, all under the watchful eye of the great Hirammy W. Ivans. Hirammy had a genius idea. He took the criminals and indiginous people of the nearby lands, and brought them together under a unified cause; "To build our glorius town!"
Once the town was built and its peoples settled the area, Ivans had not had his fill. Instead of relenquishing his unified workers, he began other various projects. Years passed and the workers became a hot commodity, now being traded and sold as what he referred to as "slaves". These slaves lived in their own miniscule shacks and shanties on their owners property, and carried out the remedial and mundane tasks of the day.
A great many years passed, until Blaceria was eventually split down the middle, between Blacerians supporting the use of these so-called "slaves", and the Blacerians fighting for human rights, trying to free them. The debates became strenuous and labored, and eventually the heated situations escalated into bloodshed. The Eastern Blacerians would not relenquish their slaves, so the Westerners declared war.
Ultimately, the Eastern Blacerians met defeat, and slavery was abolished. However, the negative stigma still remains, as now free clanspeople are discriminated against in Eastern Blaceria. Although Nathaniel Forrester, President of Blaceria, is undoubtedly from Eastern Blaceria, he claims that he in no way discriminates against any people of the Northern Expanse Region.
