Tha laidback, beatnik population of Brattatta spends most of its time reading books and sharing the love.

BookCrossing is the national sport, and November 5th is National Book Freedom Day, when every citizen is given the day off, and encouraged to "free" at least one book. Cheese and chocolate are among the nation's favourite foods, and on Book Freedom Day we can be found partaking in one of the many fondue parties.

Cheese exports is our major industry, as we have a lot of happy cows. This is credited to dairy farmers reading to them on a regular basis, often stark naked.

We are an eco-friendly country, and large portions of university research budgets are spent in finding renewable resources to be used in the printing of more books. Thus far hemp looks fairly promising. If we could just get the professors to stop smoking it long enough to grow a big enough crop!!

We believe that all are created equal, and we all just want to keep on keepin on. Power to the people and pass the chocolate brownies!

Her Right Groovilicious BrataTatTat is please to announce to the unveiling of the new International Embassy building, to house foreign delegates during their stays in Brattatta. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was well-attended, and in addition to residences, the building houses the country's formidable reference library.

Teachers and day-care workers are available for delegates with young children, and the reference library is available for use for those who home-school. A large, well-treed playground is situated outside the embassy, in Brattatta's new Beatnik Park.

We are pleased to invite delegates to visit the embassy in time for Book Freedom Day on November 5th. Festivities will include the usual chocolate and cheese fondue parties, wine-tastings, and book signings by some of Brattatta's more illustrious authors and poets.
