Founded in late 2002, the United States of Brians Room is one of the older nations in the game and is one of the oldest nations in North America. Elected to the regional delegacy in February of 2003, the USBR is the longest serving regional delegate in NationStates, having served uninterrupted for almost four years. The USBR was a founding member of the North American Treaty Organization (NATO), developed the standard regional currency of the NorAm Dollar, and served as a diplomat to Gatesville, the Allied Liberation League and the Meritocracy.
Brians Room is ruled by President Brian, who is currently serving his fifth one year term as President. His nominal second in command is Secretary of State Howie the Cat. The USBR includes a council of governors who rule the four seperate states that comprise the USBR - the State of the Kitchen, the State of the Bedroom, the State of the Living Room, and the Commonwealth of the Bathroom.
The USBR is an administrator for the offsite forums for North America, the North American Central Depot.
