Brief
Cadencia was founded on April 22nd, 2005 by current president Thadeus Turnback III. The country was formed by a contingent of American artisans who wished to find a new avenue to persue their crafts. In Cadencia, education is of the utmost importance. Required through the age of 18, additional schooling is provided for as long as the individual desires. President Turnback was quoted once as saying, "How are the Cadencian people supposed to learn Giant Steps in all keys? It is up to the government to ensure that the means to meet the goals of the people are provided."
Other standout policies in Cadencia include no recreational drug laws, public concert funding, swift executions (only with DNA evidence), governmental healthcare (including abortions), and no speed limits.
Defense and assisting in disasters are Cadencia's only military purposes however, they employ a large percentage of the countries labor force. Information Technology, Uranium Mining and Automobile Manufacturing are the leading exporting industries and have made Cadencia well known for their quality of work, not necessarily their quantity. Augmenta Automotive, Cadencia's leading car manufacturer, has over a 6 month waiting period for one of its Fermata 500's which has been labeled in leading trade magazines as, "The quickest, sleekest, and prettiest sports car since the McClaren F-1."
