Early Life
As a young boy, growing up with his step brother, Emperor Ivan Rosanavitch John always showed an interest in the sea. Indeed his favorite home was his fathers palace by the sea. He showed an intrest also in the airships of the Royal Airfleet. But his favorites were always the Imperial Battleships of the Royal Navy. His father recognised this, and when John was 14 years old, he was sent away to sea as an officer on the HMAS (His Majesty's Antarctican Ship) Hotel Antarctica.
Time as Helmsman of Hotel Antarctica
For a few months, Captain Hudson was the helmsman of Hotel Antarctica, a floating hotel which entertained many guests of high profile. Along with his trustworthy crew, he sailed the seas, docking with various regions and inviting passengers aboard. In the end, the Hotel lost its charm, due to lack of funding from Emperor Ivan Rosanavitch. Forced to make rash desicions, Hudson proclaimed Hotel Antarctica as a Pirate Ship, with letters of marque from the Greater Antarctican Government. They went, terrorizing the seas, and claiming booty. Hudson became rich and returned to Greater Antarctica and bough a position on the HMAS Indefatigable as an Officer.
Imperial Fleet Officer
When Hudson was posted on the HMAS Indefatigable, he showed considerable prowess. He quickly rose through the ranks, and when the Imperial Fleet engaged the fleet of the Revolution, Hudson made decisive actions at the Battle of the Weddle Sea. It was then that the Lord Admiral recgonised Hudsons cosiderable skill, and promoted him to commodore of the fleet. When the Lord Admiral was killed in action, Hudson took his place.
Time as Admiral
When Hudson became the admiral, he set about combining the Imperial fleet with the Royal Airfleet. This is widely recognised as one of his greatest achievements. He then became Kommandant of the Airfleet, and therefore combined the two positions of Lord Admiral and Kommandant of the Airfleet into one position.
The Greater Antarctican Invasion
When Greater Antarctica was invaded, Hudson became the de-facto sucessor of Ivan Rosanavitch. Fleeing to the allied region of the New Britannian Empire he took all the old posts that were held by the Emperor. Rising in prowess in the NBE, he became a Lord of the Realm and passed several influential bills in Parliament. He re-wrote the Articles of Codification and was appointed as Governor of Fondor. This is where he is currently, but he has ambitions to become NBE PM with his party, the Imperial Democrats.
