The Chancellor of Billopesha is the head of government of Billopesha. According to the Berroll System, the position is much similar to a Prime Minister but unlike in other nations, shares much of its power with the four Secretaries of State. The position is appointed solely by the Grand Lord, then approved by the National Parliament and is almost simply the presiding officer of the Cabinet. Most of the power is invested in the Secreatries of State who are largly independent of the Chancellor. The Chancellor also holds a seat in the Constitutional Council and is politically non-affiliated.

The current position of Chancellor was instigated following the Imperial Revolution, part of the Billopeshian Civil War, replacing the short-lived position of Prime Minister. The only Prime Minister, Aaron Thorne then became the first Chancellor on October 15, 2007.
