Checkmate Project

The Checkmate Project was a secret project by the government of YarenZero's military. In this project, forty nine children of twelve years old were dropped off on a un-inhabited island and told to survive for as long as they could. forty two of the kids died over the course of six months, the last seven were taken to a secret installation where they underwent surgery and were given special "Combat Implants" (which are used to give better reflexes, improve aim, making the user a powerhouse of strategy and power.), trained with the other youth to work as a team. Highly skilled and heavily disciplined, the seven youth are the ultimate fighting force equiped with the best weapons available such as the Type 08 AOR. The Checkmate Project was first un-veiled accidentaly at a press conferance where Josef Zero was the target of an assasination atempt. The Youths were able to kill the Assasin and acomplice without harming anyone else.
